Ajith „the elephant wisperer“ got the talent to study the wild elephants and now knows to handle them very carefully. On my wild elephant tour with Ajith I got so many lessons about the elephants and nice moments of getting very close to them! You always have to be aware when you meet wild elephants. They can be very aggressiv and attack vehicles or persons. Never go close to them without a special guide who knows about the options. Its absolutley worthy to go with Ajith. He is gifted with a big heart for the wild elephants and they know about his intention!
There are so many option to see elephants in Sri Lanka, but the tours with Ajith are very special. Its important to know that he is a local, he studyed the elephants for years and he knows when to be careful and stay away from them. Somee toursists think they can do this experience just by themselves by TukTuk. This can get real dangerous. Never do that by your own. Never feed them out of your car or bus.
